Overview

Student Outcome
Upon successful completion of the diploma course, graduates will be able to:

Entry Requirments
Local
- Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Pelajaran Vokasional (SPMV) with at least 3 credits including Mathematics and 1 other Sciences/Technical/Vokasional subject;
- Passed Certificate in related field from PPT recognized by Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA 2.00;
- Passed other qualifications organized by Malaysian Government.
International
- Completed their secondary education or equivalent AND a score of 500 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR a score 5.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) OR an equivalent.
Note: If the student does not meet the criteria, the HEP will offer an English course to ensure the student’s proficiency in meeting the program requirements.

Graduates of Civil Engineering are highly in demand in a wide variety of industries as well as the commercial sector.
The career prospects for holders of the Diploma in Civil Engineering include working as technicians/ engineering assistants/technical support staff in the following areas; Highway, Geotechnical, Water & Wastewater, Structural, research and development, maintenance, test and quality control.
Basic expected starting monthly salary is around RM1,300 – RM2,400.
