Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), formerly known as Universiti Industri Selangor was established on 23rd August 1999. The Faculty of Engineering and Life Sciences, UNISEL, has established a Food Analysis Laboratory, Aquatic Biotechnology Laboratory, Molecular Biotechnology Laboratory under the Selangor Scientific Advancement Laboratory (SELSCA LAB) to meet commercial and industrial needs through laboratory testing.
