Faculty of Engineering and Life Sciences (FELS) Drone Team, led by Ts. Dr. Siti Birkha Mohd Ali,alongside the UTEM Teaching Factory (TF) delegation led by Professor Ts. Dr. Azmi bin Awang Md. Isa, conducted a high-level industrial visit to Nxtech Global Sdn. Bhd. at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya.
This engagement serves as a pivotal step in aligning academic expertise with industrial requirements. Their recent visit explored drone technology integration and an advanced STEM module in order to establish additional engagement focused on high-level industrial synergy.

The team’s preparation for the 2026 National-level Drone Competition, the Joint-Grant Applications to further advance drone-based knowledge for the society through shared research funding, and the plan to create specialised drone technology short courses for school teachers were some of the main topics of discussion.
