UNISEL Students Participate in Future Engineering Talents Gateway

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 August 2025 โ Four students from the Faculty of Engineering and Life Sciences, Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), representing the Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours programs, proudly took part in the Future Engineering Talents Gateway program, held in conjunction with the BEM National Engineering Convention (NEC) 2025 at Connexion Convention and Event Centre, Bangsar South City.
The event brought together students from 20 universities nationwide, providing them with valuable exposure, networking opportunities, and real-world insights into the engineering profession. Participants attended four insightful sharing sessions, namely โCollege to Careerโ, โStarting My Career in the Engineering Professionโ, โMandatory Registration with BEMโ, and โChoosing the Right Qualification for Your Engineering Careerโ.
A highlight of the program was the Hackathon challenge, where teams were tasked with developing and pitching innovative start-up ideas to address real-world engineering issues.
Through this initiative, students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of Malaysiaโs engineering regulatory framework, professional pathways, and diverse career prospects, while building meaningful connections with the engineering community.
